Welcome back, Abu. Abu came to the rescue, well cared for, but unable to be well loved by his owner due to allergies. He was never held, pet or snuggled. Despite that, he was very open and receptive to it. After a few months, Abu was adopted in December of 2024 at 3 years old, Abu was returned abruptly with no fault of his own - the family was moving and last minute, told us they needed him gone within 3 days.
Abu was dropped back off in a box, with his cage stripped of his belongings, without any food, bedding, hay, or accessories to get him settled in. We hope the next family listens to our advice and cares for him much better than the last. We do our absolute best to guide every adoptive home and support them with their pets but even so - sometimes the wrong homes adopt.
Abu is still the happy, friendly, and healthy-looking boy we adopted out. He’s settling back in with us right now, but soon we hope the right family will come for him.

These animals live in FOSTER HOMES. The rescue group does not have a facility for visitors.
