What are the items made from?
All our items are initially designed with Chinchillas in mind. If you have a different species, kindly notify us in advance, and we will try to accommodate your specific needs.
Our fleece cage accessories are meticulously handcrafted using high-quality Blizzard or Anti-pill fleece fabric. Some of our designs require a robust lining material to ensure structural integrity and maintain their shape. Depending on the design, we incorporate materials such as polyfill, batting, or recycled textile padding. To promote sustainability, we're happy to fulfill requests to use fleece scraps whenever possible.
If you wish to explore this option, please notify us in advance. Each item is accompanied by a brief description, but should you require more details, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
In the event that any item in your pet's cage sustains damage due to wear or chewing, it's crucial to promptly remove it.

How long do custom orders take?
Custom orders may require a production period ranging from 2 to 8 weeks. The exact turnaround time depends on several factors, including my current workload, the availability of necessary supplies, and the time of the year. Your invoice will provide an estimated turnaround period.
For items related to holidays or special gifts, I highly recommend placing your order 2-3 months in advance to ensure prompt delivery. If you need your order sooner, you have the option to request expedited shipping with Priority Mail Service and request a Rush/Priority status for faster completion. The Rush/Priority fees, which are determined based on your order sizes, lead time, and my current workload, can range from $25.00 to $100.00 USD. Reminder, Chinnie Boutique is a small business run by a single individual in addition to other commitments.

Can I cancel or return my custom order?
Once custom orders have been placed and payment has been received, we regret to inform you that we are unable to accommodate cancellations, modifications, or returns. The materials required for your order are promptly ordered or already in the process of being prepared, making it impractical for us to cancel or provide refunds for these orders.
Custom orders are meticulously designed to meet your specific requirements, and customers have the opportunity to approve the design or concept before production commences. As these items are tailored to your exact specifications, they are ineligible for return. Any exceptions to this policy will be granted solely at Chinnie Boutique's discretion.

Can I change my shipping address?
Once an order has been successfully paid for, the shipping address is considered final. We kindly ask that you complete your checkout using your current or expected shipping address. If you anticipate a change in your address shortly after placing a custom order, please notify us in advance to ensure accurate billing and delivery. Chinnie Boutique cannot assume responsibility for orders delivered to previous or incorrect addresses, especially if the address was provided during the checkout process.
Additionally, it's essential to keep in mind that custom orders may have a production time of 2-8 weeks. We advise you to plan accordingly when placing your order.

The fees listed here cover additional services provided to ensure your complete satisfaction with your order:
Fabric Pickup Fee: In cases where your order necessitates the procurement of special fabric that must be picked up, a $5.00 pickup fee will apply. May be voided if I have several orders to pick up*.
Online Fabric Ordering: When online fabric ordering is required and delivery is needed, please note that Joann's policy mandates a minimum order of 2 yards per color/print. This will be billed at cost, inclusive of material and shipping expenses, minus the amount allocated to create your items. It's worth mentioning that we maintain several in-stock options to help you avoid this charge.
Heavy Detail: Custom orders that entail extensive hand-sewing or additional detailing may incur an additional labor fee, which can range from $10.00 to $25.00 USD.
Priority/Rush Order: Should you request a rush to be placed on your order and expedited shipping via Priority Mail Service for faster delivery, the associated fees can vary from $25.00 to $100.00 USD. The specific amount depends on your order size, lead time, and my current workload.
