About me:
Meet Twist!
Twist is a 4-5 year old Wilson White male chinchilla with soft grey dusting and a distinctive splotch on his side. He’s the smallest, scruffiest, and jumpiest of his group, but with patience and care, he’s sure to blossom in a loving home.
Twist and his brothers didn’t receive the best care in their previous home and often fought, so they are currently housed as single males. Sadly, they were the result of backyard breeding and inbreeding, as their previous owners were unaware of proper chinchilla care and sexing. Their parents were originally purchased from a farmer’s market, and the males even had access to their mother before the mistake was realized. While Twist may be too stressed to bond right away, with time and the right match, he may accept a companion.
Please note: The photos were taken upon surrender, but since then, Twist and his siblings have received proper dust baths, nourishing food, and plenty of love. The numbers marked in their ears (1, 2, 3) are from washable markers used for identification.

To adopt, you must apply with Cali_FID Rescue. Go to www.califidparrotandexotic.com and fill out the adoption application.
These animals live in FOSTER HOMES. The rescue group does not have a facility for visitors.
